Shhh.. My Mother Was Right… #DoveTruth

From the time I can remember, my mom would only have Dove bar soap in the house. I watched her every night wash her makeup off with it, and it was the only soap she would use on us as kids. As I got older and started wanting the fun bath soaps I saw on commercials or in the drugstore, I questioned why we couldn’t have them. “Dove is the best for your skin and keeps you moisturized.” I didn’t know what this meant, but it didn’t matter- I lost the battle and she wasn’t budging. As I got older and decided to experiment with other bath soaps, I realized she was right. Did I just say that my mother was right? Oh boy- this doesn’t happen often, so it must be true! I found that other soaps would make me feel as if I hadn’t even showered, as if I had a film left on my skin. I went back to the Dove my mom always trusted on our skin, and haven’t looked back since.

I’ve used many Dove products since, including their deodorant and hair care products because my family has trusted their products for decades. For this reason, I couldn’t be happier that I am a Dove Mom Ambassador! As if Dove couldn’t get any better,  they just improved their formula by combining their mildest cleansers with NurtiumMoisture  and contains 100% natural moisturizes that are easily absorbed by the skin. I love that it provides a rich lather in the shower, and you don’t even have to use that much! Let’s not forget the price; I’ve found that Dove products are at a great price point when compared to other similar products on the market.
