An Old Favorite: JENGA Goes Boom! (Giveaway!)

I love that my daughter is getting old enough to enjoy “family game night” and can participate in board games and other fun family games. Just recently, I introduced her to one of my favorites growing up: JENGA. Although the recommended age for Jenga is 6 and up, my 3 year old understood the point of the game very quickly and we had a great time stacking our tower to see how high we could get it before it collapsed. Once she got the hang of the game, I decided to add another element to the game: a time limit!

Jenga Boom puts a spin on this classic game. Each time a player takes a turn, they activate the ticking time bomb. Each player has to finish their turn before the bomb explodes and the tower collapses. The person that wins is the last one that complets their turn before the tower collapses. My toddler loved the anticipation and squealed each time the tower exploded! She asks to play Jenga Boom everyday! If you have kids that love building, stacking, and a challenge,  then this is a great game for them! I have to be completely honest, this game isn’t just for kids! If you loved Jenga growing up, then you will love this altered game play with Jenga Boom!

Do you celebrate Family Game Night? Since my little girl is getting older, and our routine is getting busier, I would love to set up some time each week for our family to spend some “unplugged” moments together. We already try to eat dinner at the family table as much as possible, so I feel that family game time to unwind together.

    Clue has always been a favorite of mine! My kids are loving Life and Monopoly lately.
