My husband and I recently went on a cleaner-eating kick and lost a total of 50 pounds between us. It’s been so rewarding watching the numbers on the scale go down, having clearer skin, and preparing delicious meals that are friendly to the waistline but don’t skimp on flavor. Most recently I lightened up an old favorite of ours- spinach and feta stuffed chicken over rice or pasta. Instead of using a grain, I made it over roasted cauliflower which cut the carbs and calories tremendously. For the feta in the chicken, I didn’t go overboard, adding only 1 ounce of cheese per each breast. Since we can have as many veggies as we want on this regimen, I loaded up on spinach and made sure to heavily season it with salt, pepper, and garlic to satiate those taste buds.
The only problem we’ve encountered with the increase in vegetables is an increase in heartburn. The familiar feeling of fire trickling up my throat is something I’m all too familiar with. In the past, I’ve gone through numerous tests and diagnostics to find out I suffered from heartburn. At the time, Nexium24HR was by prescription only and what my doctor prescribed. Fast forward over 10 years later and not only is Nexium24HR available over the counter, but it now comes in a smaller, easier to swallow capsule. Nexium24HR ClearMinis offer the same relief you’ve come to expect from Nexium24HR.
The thing I like most about Nexium24HR is the 14 day regimen. Typically when I feel heartburn lasting for a few days, I complete the 14 day regimen and I feel better after that. I notice a difference before the 14 days are up, but in the past, my doctor has always urged me to finish the 14 days for longer lasting effects. Since you take Nexium24HR just once a day, it’s easy to keep on track until you finish the entire course.
Now, for that Spinach and Feta Stuffed Chicken over Cauliflower Recipe-
