A few months ago I told you about Tiggly Shapes and how they enhanced learning with the iPad. If you have kids then you know how they get over things REAL quick and on to the next toy faster than it took them to open a new package. Well, in our case, Tiggly Shapes are still used. Both, my 2 and 5 year old love Tiggly Shapes and can benefit from “playing” with them in different ways. My youngest is just learning about colors and shapes, while my oldest is learning how to manipulate shapes to make them into other objects. It’s really fun watching them learn!
The makers of Tiggly Shapes have just released a new iOS companion called Tiggly Counts. Since their first product was for shapes, it was only natural that counting was the next step. Tiggly Counts is a fun way to build early math skills in pre-schoolers. The Tiggly Counts shapes are a great way to provide hands-on learning while the fun app enhances skills with vibrant colors and games. As a former teacher, I think this is a great way for children to learn – through electronics, because kids love to play and they can learn a lot with the various educational apps out there.
Tiggly Counts is available for pre-order TODAY, October 7, but will be released nationwide on October 21. You can check out Tiggly Counts where you can find ordering information and see it in action on YouTube. When you use code PREORDER30 between October 7-31, you can get 30% off all pre-orders!
