Everyone around me is starting to catch on that I might have a slight addiction to coffee. At any given time of day, you will find me with a cup of coffee in hand, or at least within arms reach. I’m picky, though. My coffee has to taste good. I like a nice bold roast, but I don’t want my beans to taste like they are burned. I’m in no way a coffee connoisseur, but I do know what I like and where I can get the perfect cup, and that is usually in my own home.
Now, if you’ve been following me on social media, then you know these past two months I have been spending a lot of time at my parents house while our new home was complete. So, much of my coffee would be consumed at their house with an old fashioned coffee brewer. I prefer a Keurig myself, and I have a reusable K-cup where I can use my own ground coffee. When I was asked to sample Seattle’s Best Coffee, I already knew what I was in for. Seattle’s Best is known for having one of the best tasting coffee around, and I had to put it to the test, with other picky tastebuds as well.
Everyone was pleasantly surprised at how great Seattle’s Best tasted. I wasn’t. I already knew what to expect. My parents, on the other hand, are brand loyal to two brands they have been buying since the time I can remember. I personally cannot stomach their coffee – it’s bland, no body, and might as well be watered down coffee grounds. I crave a richer, bolder flavor and Seattle’s Best gives their all in every single bag of beans and cup of coffee. Seattle’s Best knows their coffee is good, and they are guaranteeing every bag they sell.
