Do you have a Dora the Explorer fan in your home? My daughters go through phases of loving the fun, educational, and bilingual show. Some days they ask to watch it and others they don’t, but they are both still Dora fans at heart! This passed weekend we were invited to check out an event at a Macy’s Store in Queens which featured the voice of Dora! The children listened to a story from Fatima Ptacek who interacted with the audience as she does on the big screen. All the kids were excited to be part of the story with Dora the Explorer. After story-time with Dora, the kids each had the opportunity to make their own backpack with fun crafts and glitter. After their craft dried they were able to take it home and create their own adventures with their new backpack!
