I love that you wrote about Southwest Missouri! It is my current home. It seems so many people only think of the big cities to the north (Kansas City and St Louis)so I was thrilled when this went on to talk about Branson. I do not live in Branson, but I live near it and my family loves to visit there often. I can attest to Branson's charm. Silver Dollar City is a favorite and we are Season Pass holders. The shows there never disappoint. Although I am not originally from this state I love it. The history is rich and I am forever learning new and interesting facts; like that I live a mere 20 minutes away from where the Little House on the Prairie books were written, Route 66 was founded in Springfield (45 from Branson) and that the Trail of Tears cuts through here. I highly recommend a trip to the SW corner of this midwest state!
