I never realized how much a baby carrier would come in handy until I had my second baby. I owned a baby carrier for my first, but she hated it. With baby #2, it was more of a necessity and I needed her to be comfortable in one. It just made sense that it would make my life easier to be able to carry baby while chasing after my tot, doing crafts, and walking her to preschool.
I loved the idea of a wrap-style carrier for my baby when she was a newborn, but she wasn’t comfortable in one. I also had a hard time wrapping and getting the carrier comfortable on me- this HAD to be easier.. there had to be a better way! Since I didn’t wear my first baby much, I thought that maybe it would just take time getting use to wrapping her, but this wasn’t the case. After many failed attempts and a fussy baby, I decided to give up on the wrap. When I found out Infantino had simplified a wrap-style carrier, I figured I would give it a shot. It looked a lot easier and was a hybrid-style carrier/wrap.
The Infantino Sync baby carrier was a lot simpler to use and put on. I loved that the shoulder straps were thick and supportive, as was the supporting strap under the baby, which sits on my waist. It was just a little challenging at first to figure out which strap goes where, but that’s because I didn’t realize that all the information I needed was right on the Sync straps! Each strap has a color coded tag that tells you where to put it, making this wrap carrier so much easier to wear than the traditional wrap carriers.
I feel that this is a great carrier to start with when you are baby wearing. It is great whether you are a beginner or a seasoned baby-wearer. After trying a few wrap-style carriers, I feel that the Sync is easier to put on, but just as any carrier, the more you use it, the better and more comfortable you will be, and it will also get a lot easier to use.
You can find out more information, as well as where to purchase the Sync by visiting Infantino, and connecting with them on Facebook and Twitter.
