Little Girls and Their Baby Dolls! (Gotz #Giveaway) #haba_usa

Little girls can never have enough dolls – or at least my little girl can’t! She loves all types of baby dolls, especially since she’s become a big sister. Now, my youngest daughter is also getting into dolls and I find it so interesting how an almost one year old tries to care for a baby doll. She cradles her older sister’s dolls, and has even tried burping them!

I was never into dolls as a child, so I wasn’t familiar with Götz before receiving a doll to review. I have a new appreciation for dolls since my girls love them, and now I seek out quality baby dolls that will last through years of play and have features that I know my girls can relate to. My oldest daughter loves dolls that she can care for, change diapers, dress, and play with their hair. My youngest daughter needs a doll that she can easily hold in her little hands, and doesn’t have too many extra accessories because she will try to eat them. Keeping both my daughters in mind, I decided to review the Aquini Girl doll by HABA. This doll is most appropriate for ages 3+, but her size is what appeals most to my youngest daughter. My oldest daughter loves that her doll can drink water and pee in the included potty!

There are no details left out when it comes to Gotz dolls. The Aquini doll has detailed clothing, complete with button holes and pockets, and has life-like baby features. Although the doll we chose to review did not include hair, Gotz dolls are known to have high quality hair which can be washed, brushed, and even styled with a blow dryer or curling iron! My girls are still too young to handle such equipment, but this is a great feature for older girls who love to practice styling hair. Another great feature about HABA’s Gotz dolls are that they can be washed in the washing machine! I love this feature! My preschooler loves to bring her baby doll with her everywhere she goes, so as you can imagine it sees a lot of germs and dirt. I don’t have to worry about spot treating this baby! She can withstand the washer and dryer! (Standing dolls can not be machine washed)

The Aquini doll is perfect for little girls that love to pretend to be mommies, or even younger girls who are learning how to potty train. They are a perfect size for various aged girls and come with high quality, long last features.
