While being snowed in, my girls requested a family fun day packed with indoor activities. First, we played a few rounds of Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, next up was lunch, then it was time for our Mario and friends paper craft inspired by Mario and Luigi Paper Jam for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo supplied us with paper punch-outs of our favorite (and one not-so-favorite) character. It is known in my family that Luigi is my all time favorite, with Yoshi coming in a close second. My girls love Mario and Princess Peach, but settled on making Goomba.
With a little help from dad, we successfully made our troop. Check them out:
My oldest nintendo kid reviewer tested out Mario & Luigi Paper Jam for the Nintendo 3DS. This game is a little different than other Mario games because this is the first time that you simultaneously play Mario and Luigi on the same screen. Together, the pair plays mini games to gather all the paper characters and send them back to their book.
The game includes all our favorite Mario characters (in multiples) and becomes interesting when paper and actual characters meet themselves! The game is fun, lighthearted, and keeps the player engaged. Don’t tell my daughter, but after she goes to bed at night I’m up playing Mario & Luigi Paper Jam and completing her quests. Once you get the hang of playing both characters at one time, you’ve reached an entirely new gaming experience!

This game looks like so much fun, I love that they look like paper! My 7 year old has suddenly been asking for a video game system. This would be perfect! Reminds me of the one I had as a kid!
