A few years ago I made a decision for my family, despite my husband telling me he wasn’t sure it was the best idea I’ve had. Once I discovered we could cut our cable bill each month by using a streaming device, I knew it was a great way for us to maximize our monthly budget. We purchased our first Google Chromecast for the girl’s room, and then another for the play room. Now my little guy has a TV in his room and we got him a Google Chromecast as well. They can still watch all their favorite shows, but instead of paying a monthly bill for the service, I simply have to pay just one price, one time, for the device.
From live TV, to their favorite movies, and even YouTube, they aren’t missing out on anything. Who really needs 2,000 Cable stations anyway? Just recently I discovered that I can even connect my phone to the Chromecast on TV to look at our family videos and look through pictures we’ve taken. This is a great way to share pictures with the grandparents when they are over!
