It’s not until you become a parent that you realize all the little moments are really the big moments in life. I realized it when I gave birth to my first child and I barely had a minute to blink and I was already planning her first birthday. Then, after my second baby came along, it really hit me like a ton of bricks. I couldn’t remember a lot of things from my first baby through various stages that I was now reliving with our newest member of the family. When did my little girl grow up? When did this personality develop? Who is this girl!?!? My girls amaze me everyday with their growing autonomy and huge personalities. I often think of what the future has in store for us, but then I remind myself to take it one day at a time and make as many memorable moments as we can.
Welch’s is a familiar name at the table. With their delicious grape jelly and juice, they are a brand that has been around since I was a kid. I still remember my peanut butter and Welch’s grape jelly sandwiches I had as a kid. I even remember when I was old enough to make them on my own! The truth is, the most memorable moments happen at the table, and Welch’s wants to remind you to take time and enjoy them! Breakfast is a big deal in our family and every summer we get to enjoy breakfast everyday together. Once the school year hits, hubby is back at work and leaves super early, leaving just me and he girls to have breakfast without him. This is where we pan our day, and where I set my expectations on behavior. Since we started having frequent tantrums, I’ve had to pep talk my daughter each morning to set some rules and consequences. It works, and her tantrums are getting better.
When I was growing up, we always had dinner together as a family. Since my girls are still young, I love that we can gather around the table for more than one meal a day to talk and keep our connection strong. Since this is what they are use to, it is something that I hope will always be constant. Welch’s wants you to “Share what’s Good” and take a few minutes each day to connect with your family. They are giving one of my lucky readers the chance to win a $50 photo gift card towards an online photo service where you can make your own memory book with various photo gifts, such as albums, books, cards, calendars, and more. The form for the giveaway is below, but first, be sure to check out Welch’s on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
