I had it all figured out by the time my third baby was born, or so I thought. My son was supposed to be the baby that slept without having to be rocked, the infant that enjoyed being in his crib, and the child that ate everything we put in front of him. The only problem is he wasn’t any of that. He hated his crib, woke every two hours at night, and hated most foods.
Did I mention he hated bottles? I’ve tried them all. At some point in his earliest days, bottles were the only way he could be fed because he was tongue tied and lip tied. Obviously we’ve gotten past those latch issues but I needed to find something that could mimic the boob and would give me a break. With my second baby we used Philips Avent bottles and she easily switched from boob to bottle. It was time to reach for an old favorite and see if it would work for him too.
The Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle has been clinically proven to reduce colic and discomfort. While the bottle looks like the original Philips Avent bottle, it has been updated with the Airflex venting system designed to reduce gas and air ingestion. Studies have shown that babies using the Philips Avent Anti-colic bottle have experienced 60% less fussing at night.
I love that the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle is easy to wash. It comes with 4 simple pieces- the bottle, collar, nipple, and cap. They are easy to assemble and perfect for caregivers to help out with bottle feeds as well.
