Social networking has become the center of this generation. We use social networking to keep in touch, share thoughts, ideas, and even shop. The world of social networking has made it easier to keep in touch stay in the know. I’ll confess, I get most of my news from social media, otherwise I would be completely lost in a world full of Nick Jr. and Disney Jr.

Two years ago I felt like I was the last to jump on the bandwagon of smartphones and didn’t have a clue about apps. I publicly asked everyone I knew on social media what the best apps were, but not many of the people in my close social circle was able to tell me which would be the best apps for blogging. Little did I know there was a whole other world of bloggers out there who used apps to stay on top of things and keep productivity at its peak. I discovered some interesting apps on my own, but it took time and a lot of researching.
Now there is a new social media app out there aptly named App Social. This app helps you and your friends place your favorite apps into groups. For example, I have a group of apps for my games, my kid’s games, blogging, social media, and shopping. Want to know what I have in each of those groups? You can follow me at atimeout4mommy on AppSocial to find out!

AppSocial is exclusive to Windows Phones. Now, if you were able to put all your favorite apps into groups, how would you group them?
This post was written as part of a partnership with Nokia, however all thoughts and opinions are mine.
I’m always on the lookout for new apps and this seems like it would be super helpful!
That is a great app. I have what seems 20 different things on my phone to keep up with all I have to do with blogging. Having it in one spot would be easier.
Sounds like a great app, wish it was available on android though.
Not sure if it’s the same kind of thing but you can “folder” apps on the iPhone. I have ones say like “Productivity” where all my note apps go in, “shopping” for my rewards cards and store apps, that sort of thing. My daughter has a Windows Phone, I’ll tell her about this one.
I don’t know that I have any favorite apps, though I do tend to visit Facebook and Twitter pretty often.
I need to check this out. I am always trying to find a way to make my social media life easier.
what a neat app, I’ll have to give it a try!
This sounds great, my phone is completely disorganized!
My husband needs this app – I can never find anything when I try to use his phone! 🙂
Oh I don;t have a windows phone.
My husband has a windows phone, I’ll tell him about this!
This is interesting! I’ve not heard of it! Will go check it out now!
I have to admit that most of what I hear during the day involves pbs kids, disney jr, kids place live, etc…
I really like how that helps you organize them. I tend to group my apps by social, shopping, entertainment, travel, etc.
Thanks for sharing, I definitely need some organization to my apps. They’re all over the place.
This looks so easy to use!
Looks like a wonderful app!
