When I was growing up I had an electronic teddy bear that would move his mouth when I inserted any cassette tape in him. He was my favorite toy and I’ve been searching for something similar for my children. Technology has come a long way, and cassettes have long been phased out, but the idea of a stuffed animal reading a children’s book or singing a song is still possible with Bluebee Pals.
Right out of the box, Bluebee Pals was ready to go. All I had to do was flip a switch and pair our Bluebee Pals dog with my phone. As I was setting up the connection, which took less than 10 seconds, my mom happened to call. When I picked up the phone I didn’t expect her voice to come out of this fun stuffed animal, but it did and the whole family had a good laugh. My son looked inside his Bluebee pal’s mouth to see if grandma was hiding in there. As she spoke, Bluebee opened and closed his mouth. After that conversation my kids wanted to see what else Bluebee can do with them.
This is where we learned that anything that can be played over a bluetooth connection on the phone can be transferred to the Bluebee Pal. Music, books, phone calls- as the sounds came through, his mouth responded and the kids had a great time interacting with the cuddly pet. My favorite feature is having their Bluebee Pal read a book to them as they intently listen and watch his mouth move. What a fun way to hear a story!
This holiday season consider a Bluebee Pal for your kiddos! There is a variety of cuddly animals to choose from. Check them out here!
