My skin has a mind of its own. In the summer I have mostly combination skin and in the winter my skin leans toward the dryer side. Because of this, I am very careful about what I use on my face – because I tend to break out with certain products that are made for dry skin due to the over powering moisturizers that clog my pores.
I had the opportunity to review Atopalm products which are specifically made for dry, sensitive, or sun damaged skin. Being that I try to avoid products that contain parabens, this line of products fit perfectly with my lifestyle.
I tried out the Atopalm Moisturizing Facial Cleansing Foam this past weekend. I love that it is an all in one – makeup removing and moisturizing lather that rinses clean and leaves skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. Here is some info from the Atopalm site:
A gentle, non-greasy, paraben free, moisturizing, foaming cleanser that is perfect for every day use. Envelop the face with rich foam to gently and efficiently melt away makeup and pollutants. And, it helps maintain the natural pH balance of the skin. This efficient foam performs without leaving the face feeling dry and stripped. Dirt and makeup disappear, moisture remains, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.
Recommended Use: Moisten skin. Pump a generous amount of foam into palm of hand. Gently massage with a circular motion over the entire face. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry. Repeat if necessary. Not to be used to remove eye makeup.
I have only used this product for a few days and I already noticed the difference in the moisture level on my dry areas. Atopalm, used over the course of 25-30 days will reach its maximum potency – so I will update you on what I think about this product after that time has passed.
