From the minute you become pregnant, you start researching just about everything for baby. You look up the safest infant car seats, the best baby stroller, the most effective diaper rash creams, the best quality formula for baby, and even the best diapers that are leak free and protect delicate skin. Despite knowing I wanted to breastfeed my babies, I also knew that not everyone was successful, and some situations meant I needed to be a little more flexible when it came to bottle feeding my baby. When I was pregnant with my first, I planned on going back to work 6-8 weeks after her birth. I heard all the stories from other moms who had all intentions of pumping their own milk, but after a few weeks they just couldn’t keep up and opted for formula.
During our initial consultation with our prospective pediatrician, he explained to me that formula is so advanced, that whether I decided to breastfeed or formula feed, as long as my baby was fed she would receive optimal nutrition. He also explained that while he gives out samples for only name-brand formulas, ALL baby formulas go through the same testing and nutrition and ingredient regulations. The only difference is that big name brand companies distribute “free” samples to doctor’s offices and have huge commercial campaigns to push their product, so their price is higher. It made sense, but I still wasn’t sure I was going to formula feed.
Fast forward to baby number 3 and I feel that despite all the research I had done for my first two, I still researched every single product I considered for my baby. As time goes on, a lot changes, including our own personal standards for anything our babies ingest. Ten years ago I feel like many of us were just waking up to the food issues in our country. Now we know our families should look for non-GMO products, like Love & Care Baby Formula. This milk-based iron formula is available from Amazon at a lower price, delivered right to your door. You can order for immediate prime delivery or you have the option to set up a subscription so you receive formula each month
Some of the benefits of Love & Care Formula are that it is inspired by breast milk, is non-GMO, includes complete nutrition with minerals and iron, gluten-free, Certified Kosher, and includes DHA and prebiotics. Love & Care Formula is comparable to Enfamil Premium but at a better price.
Not all formula-fed babies have the same nutritional needs, so be sure to speak with your pediatrician before starting or changing formulas.
