I’ve finally convinced my oldest daughter to try swimming lessons again. After a bad experience 3 years ago left her terrified of swim instructors, I promised her a new swim school and her choice of swimsuit to wear for lessons. She agreed, and I’m hoping she will gain a very important skill. My little one, on the other hand, is fearless and needs to be taught how to swim in order to avoid an emergency situation in the water.
Aside from lessons, my girls will be spending time in the pool and at the beach, so appropriate swim gear is necessary. Snapper Rock offers fun UV50+ swim pieces for kids ages 0-14. They have so much to choose from, whether you are looking for rash guards, one piece, two piece, and more. I try to keep my girls covered up at the beach in order to avoid missed sunscreen catastrophes, so I prefer one pieces and rash guards. We received one style for each girl, and picking them out was fun because there was so much to choose from. It was interesting to see which styles they went for- my oldest is completely obsessed with Hawaii and wanted anything with a hibiscus on it. My youngest, a navy blue rash guard with a pink flowered swimsuit called Daisy– she’s my princess tomboy.

The swimsuits are very well constructed to hold up to all our summer fun adventures. I decided to go up a size for both girls because they are both tall for their age, and this was a good decision. One piece swimsuits have a tendency to ride up, and having a long torso can make swimsuits uncomfortable in the wrong size.
