I’ve always loved smoothies, but I know that they aren’t all created equal. Some smoothies are loaded with fat and “filler” ingredients, and others just don’t taste good. Sometimes I will drink a smoothie as a meal replacement, and other times I will have one as a refresher. I’m generally a water drinker, but when I’m craving something else to drink, I usually reach for a Sambazon Smoothie.
I love that Sambazon uses organic ingredients and super foods in their smoothies. They are always fresh and require refrigeration, plus they taste great and are easy to take on the go. I received 5 flavors of Samazon to try out, and tasted the Kale + Ginger smoothie first, since my preschooler liked the way the bottle looked and wanted to taste it as well. After scanning the ingredients, I determined it was something I can see her drinking and didn’t contain any ingredients I didn’t agree with giving her. Actually most of the smoothies were okay for her to share with me, except the Energy Mocha Java, which contained caffeine. Obviously, for my daughter, I would not use these as a meal replacement, but more like a snack if she decided to drink an entire bottle.
My favorite Sambazon is the Mocha Java, and it gives me a great afternoon boost. All the varieties I’ve tried have tasted great. My only gripe with Sambazon is that I can’t seem to find them in my supermarket, although they are available at Costco! I’m looking forward to an expanded product line and great availability in my area. You can find out more by visiting Sambazon and connecting with them on Facebook and Twitter. There are many products in their line, including a new Cleanse system, frozen products, and Organic Freeze-Dried Acai Powder. They even have a frozen Acai treat, so be sure to check out their location finder on the site to see where you can purchase their products!
