When my oldest daughter turned two, her doctor and I discussed supplements and whether or not they were necessary. Although my daughter ate well, she seemed to get sick a lot and I was raised thinking that a boost from vitamins was a good thing. I still think that, but I have come to learn that not all vitamins are made the same. If a vitamin is suppose to help your immune system, then why add artificial colors to them? Last I heard, artificial colors were not good for anyone to ingest! This was my one of my concerns that I discussed with her doctor, and although we both agreed a nutrition boost may help, finding the best vitamins for my child would be a task in itself. Her doctor also suggested she take a daily Omega 3 vitamin, so he sent me home with some information and I immediately researched. This is when I came across L’il Critters Vitamins.
It was not so much the L’Il Critters Multivitamins that caught my attention as it was the Omega 3 vitamins in their product line. I found their Omega 3’s had the best reviews and won the Parent’s Choice award for best taste. In the past two years, this was the ONLY Omega 3 we tried for my daughter and we still use to this day. When I was pregnant and had a hard time getting pills down, I nabbed a few of my tot’s Omega 3’s because they were easier to ingest than the horsepills I was prescribed. There is no fish taste at all and for a non-fish eater, this is important!
Naturally, after trying L’il Critters Omega 3 supplements, I was turned on to the brand and didn’t think twice about adding their Children’s Multivitamins into our regimen. I love that the L’il Critters Gummy Vites don’t have artificial colors and use fruit juices to color their vitamins. L’il Critters knows just what kids want and what they will respond to, and my daughter has never had an issues taking her vitamins. I have actually had to have a few conversations with her that vitamins are medicine and we only take them when we need them and never take more than we need. I think it is important to have these conversations with kids because they can often confuse tasty vitamins with candy, so be sure to instill caution in your children when it comes to vitamins.
I’m happy to see that L’il Critters has an extensive line of various vitamins and supplements that children and adults can both enjoy. Yes, I said adults! Don’t let the cute packaging fool you! Adults can take these vitamins too, especially those who have a hard time swallowing big pills.
