Anyone with two girls close in age will tell you they can be quite competitive. They are each other’s best friend and worst enemy. It’s hard to know which direction their personalities will sway from hour to hour, and whether or not they will choose to get along. My husband likes to channel all their competitiveness into video games or building blocks, which I think is a fantastic idea.
Toys are a great way to get them to work together and learn to be a team, rather than work against each other. Just recently we had the opportunity to review SpinForce R/C, and while it can be quiet competitive to race cars, we tried to make playtime positive and lighthearted. Setup was easy and quick- the arena had pieces that interlocked.
After we set up the racing arena, it was time to race. I think my husband was more excited than the girls because, well, race cars! It took a few tries but after a while everyone got the hang of racing the cars. Of course, my girls made it competitive by trying to push the other out of the arena by bumping the others’ car.
Included in the SpinForce R/C play set is: 2 wireless remotes, 2 two-speed race cars, battle arena, 2 spare tires, screwdriver and stickers. The yellow and black “battle arena” measures 25” wide. SpinForce R/C is available on Amazon at a retail price of $39.99. This makes an excellent gift for the race car fanatic in your life!
