I use to be an avid reader until I hit college. At that point I just didn’t have time to read for enjoyment and I never really got back into reading since then. After my little girl was a few months old, I started reading stories to her. I would enjoy taking walks to the local bookstore with her to pick out a new board book for her to chew on, and for me to read to her. Now that she is two, she is picking out her own books and choosing stories that include her favorite characters.
We always choose to go to the smaller bookstores rather than the bigger stores because there is a different feeling when you walk in the door. There is a much more personalized experience when you aren’t in a crowded bookstore, and I find that the shop owner usually knows much more about the books.
The Story Nook is a mom owned children’s book store that features just about any children’s book you could think of. All the items in her online shop are categorized in a manner which you could easily find what you are looking for. For example, when my daughter was younger, the ONLY books I would put near her were board books because she couldn’t rip them. Just recently someone gave her a pop up book for her birthday, and now she gets very excited when she reads them and watches each page come to life. The Story Nook makes it easy to find what you need, and even has items categorized by age!
Books aren’t the only things you will find at The Story Nook. You will also find a nice selection of arts and crafts, dress up, games, music, puzzles, and more children’s products! Like what you see? The owner of The Story Nook is giving one lucky reader a $50 gift certificate to her shop! Just fill out the easy Rafflecopter form below:
