I rarely have cookies and chips in my house, but my hubby and I are definitely snackers. Since finding something crunchy in here is usually not salty or covered in chocolate, we resort to snacking on fruits and veggies – the way it should be, right? It turns out, my toddler is a snacker too. She loves munching on her kid friendly crackers and snacks. Believe it or not, even though she is two, she still prefers the “puff” style snacks to anything else! I guess there could be worse things for her to snack on, so I don’t mind that she prefers an infant snack.
In the fall we attended a one year old birthday party where the mom had Earth’s Best Pop Snax for the kids. They had just come out and this was the first I had heard of them. My toddler tried them and liked them, but I forgot all about Pop Snax until I received them for review a few weeks ago. As soon as my toddler saw the container, she remembered and begged me to open it. These are now her new “go-to” snack.
Earth’s Best Pop Snax are air popped rice and potato snacks fortified with iron, zinc, B vitamins. They are similar to puff snacks, but they are meant for older children that have teeth. Pop Snax don’t melt in your mouth as easily as puffs and the pieces are much bigger. Currently, there are only two flavors: Sweet Potato Cinnamon and my toddler’s favorite- Veggie. You can find Pop Snax in a canister or convenient single serve bags.
