Before starting Nutrisystem I was not a big fruit eater. I would eat fruits here and there, but if my wife purchased it and it was in the fridge, it would sit there until it was rotten and time to throw out. I was thinking today that summer was the best time for me to start Nutrisystem. Although I’m not a big fruit eater I do like summer fruits the best. I still can’t believe how little watermelon is in a serving, but I still enjoy it and I’m much more aware about portion control.
I still haven’t gotten tired of the food. My wife and I have been attending BBQs and family dinners – so I have had a variety of other foods outside of the Nutrisystem plan. This would be a good test for me to see how I will do in the upcoming weeks after we are done with the program.
Regardless of what foods I eat during the day, whether they are Nutrisystem or not, I still have my Nutrisystem dessert every night because I know that it is perfectly balanced with enough protein to satiate me throughout the night. I feel that cakes and ice creams would have too much sugar, so I stay away from them.
