Since my kids are home most of the time now and schools aren’t fully open, we try to take a lot of day trips with the kids to get out of the house and change things up for them. We’ve all gotten use to the “get up and go” lifestyle, which keeps things exciting for everyone and we get to explore new things in our area.
Keeping the car stocked with basic necessities makes it easy to take day trips. There’s always a backpack in the car that has a change of clothing and a sweater for each child, plus a first aid kit, and of course, a copious amount of snacks. We replenish the “car snack bin” as needed, and sometimes will grab some fresh options too like bananas and clementines which are easy to eat on the go. Granola bars, popcorn, Entenmann’s Little Bites, and pretzels are staples for our mini road trips.
Most recently, Entenmann’s re-released Little Bites Cookies & Creme muffins. This delicious variety is available for a limited time only, and have been a favorite of ours in the past. The kids love the flavor, and I love that they can have a sweet treat and not worry about high fructose corn syrup in their snacks.
On the go or as a treat for school, I can always appreciate the portability of Little Bites. You can purchase Little Bites at your local supermarket, Target, or warehouse store.
