If you have a little princess at home, chances are you know all about the Disney Princess Palace Pets. Each Palace Pet belongs to a specific Disney Princess and is appropriately named to fit the story of the princess. Can you guess what Cinderella’s lovable puppy’s name is? If you guess Pumpkin, then you are right! Of course Treasure the Kitten can only belong to Princess Ariel. I just love their names!
My oldest daughter loves the Palace Pets and loves Build a Bear, so when my daughter found out that Treasure and Pumpkin were coming to Build a Bear, you can imagine her reaction. She begged, pleaded, and finished all her dinner (this is a feat in itself) just to go to Build a Bear and make new friends. Since the time she was about 2, we have taken her to Build a Bear for special occasions such as birthday, good behavior, and even as a treat to celebrate the arrival of her new sister. Build a Bear always leaves great memories of friendly staff and the chance to make and bring home a new friend to care for.
Build a Bear sent Treasure to her new home last week and we eagerly adopted her. When she came to our home, we had to explain to our girls that she was the family’s pet and they needed to share her. They take turns caring for her and sleeping with her, and while some days there is conflict, overall they are ecstatic over their new friend. Check out the detail in her clothing and shoes! Yes, these are the things I get excited over! I love when care and quality go into toys because my girls can be a bit rough. Treasure is $25 and her accessories can be purchased separately. What do you think of the new line from Build a Bear? You can head into your local Build a Bear store to make a new friend, or you can order online. Outfits and shoes are available to dress up your new friend. Be sure to sign up for email or text alerts so you can get access to coupons and deals as soon as they happen!
