Normally I use to buy any dish soap that Rite Aid had on sale. I have to admit, I have become quite picky after reviewing Palmolive AntiBacterial dish soap. I always had an issue with residue remaining on my little girl’s bottle nipples. I thought that all dish soaps would have this result, and I didn’t think twice about the process of double rinsing her bottles.
Most people are unaware of all of the uses that dish soap actually has. There is the obvious one-washing dishes and then there is the semi-obvious one-BUBBLES and then the one you may not be aware of-stain remover. I have a toddler and as much as I try, she will not wear a bib, and as many of you mothers out there know-we pick our battles. If it means she is going to make a mess eating, then NO BIB it is! So, I am faced with either tossing her clothes or coming up with a solution to the stains. I was washing dishes when she walked into the dining room covered in spaghetti sauce-yes thanks hubby- I picked her up and automatically started trying to get the stain off with my hands that were covered in the dish soap. The soap helped get the stain out. I now pretreat all stains with Palmolive AntiBacterial Dish Soap!
Did I mention the antibacterial part about it? Which is good for chicken blood, which seems to end up everywhere when i am defrosting. 1 soap – many uses. A definite plus for the multitasking mom!
