I recently posted about having a baby with sensitive skin and changes I was making around her to make sure it wasn’t something she was in contact with. Changes I have made include using different detergent on her clothing, finding a baby body wash that was more compatible with her skin type, adding a daily moisturizer to her routine, and making sure she is not coming in contact with cleaning products around the house. I generally do not use harsh products to begin with, I stopped when I found out I was pregnant with her over two years ago. We try to live a greener lifestyle, but more importantly a healthier lifestyle.
Although my toddler is potty trained, we still use baby wipes here and there, especially during potty time. I find that toilet paper just gets stuck to her and may lead to irritation. I usually use the Earth’s Best Tot Wipes while on the go, but when we are home we have the Earth’s Best Sensitive Chlorine-Free Baby Wipes. These wipes are made with oat oil, shea butter lotion and vitamin E to keep your baby’s bottom clean and smooth. They are chlorine free, hypo-allergenic, un-scented, alcohol free. I haven’t had any issues with skin irritation once using these wipes, and I love that they are soothing on her skin. We also use them to clean up a messy face – they are so gentle you can use them everywhere on the body!
