Do you really know what the nutrition guidelines are for your baby during his/her first year? There is SO much information that can be very overwhelming and confusing to many parents. When my daughter’s pediatrician suggested cereal at 4 months because she didn’t seem satisfied after having breastmilk, I questioned him time and time again. I was set on starting solids at 6 months and no sooner, because I was on information overload! My belief, mostly due to my research, was that since I was breastfeeding, she shouldn’t NEED any other foods until she was at least six months old. She had other ideas! I wasn’t so strict on my beliefs, especially since my little girl was hungry, so I gave in and introduced Earth’s Best Rice Cereal when she was about 18 weeks old. It is amazing that a little bit of cereal went a long way and she was immediately satisfied.
Earth’s Best created a short nutrition quiz to check your basic understanding of infant nutrition. Take the survey today and let me know how you did!
