It’s been a long few weeks for my family. It almost feels as if my and my daughters are “displaced” as we renovate our new home and pack up our old home. Neither feels like “home” at the moment and it’s starting to affect my oldest daughter who has had mood changes lately. They say kids adapt easy, and I do believe that, but with the back and forth and in between, it’s bound to temporarily affect them. Just to give a little back story- we were suppose to move in the new house the end of August. Then we were suppose to move in the end of September. It now seems that our new date to move will be sometime around the end of October, but I will believe it when I see it! In the meantime, my daughter has started school in out new neighborhood since we thought we would have been moved when school started. So, every morning we take the highway over the river and through the woods to grandmas house, who is just a few blocks from our new home and new school. Just as this situation has been wearing on us, I’m sure my mom can say the same about her.
Now, my mom isn’t the warm and fuzzy type- but that didn’t stop her from making sure we are all fed and somewhat happy by the end of the day. She makes her home feel like our home for my girls as we transition to our new neighborhood, and for us that is the most important thing.
What better way to say “thank you” than with a bouquet of beautiful, fresh flowers from Flower Chix?
My mom received Teleflora’s Pink Grace Bouquet which came complete with a light pink case that she can reuse later on again.
Teleflora has teamed up with the Breast Cancer Research foundation for this special promotion and everytime the bouquet is purchased, 15% will be donated to the foundation. Since we’ve had a breast cancer survivor in our family, this bouquet and the foundation hold much significance to us. The beautiful bouquet, which retails for $54.95, comes in various shades of pink and a cute pink vase. You can head over to Teleflora to order yours for someone special today!
