You don’t want to hear me sing – even if it is at a karaoke bar with a ton of other people who are also tone deaf. My poor child doesn’t even get to hear lullabies from her mommy- it’s that bad! So when I was asked to review Sing4 for Nintendo Wii, I thought it would be an interesting review, considering my hubby, who is also tone deaf, doesn’t realize he can’t sing.
Sing4 comes with a microphone in the box which I thought was an awesome addition to the game! You have the option to change your voice, which is what we had the most fun with. My hubby loved the helium voice and insisted on singing most of the songs with that option. There are over 40 songs to choose from, plus you can download additional songs if your wish. I love that it is just like being at a karaoke bar, without the crowd, and you can have an awesome family game night playing Sing4.
Currently, there is a Sing4 YouTube Contest that concludes January 31, 2012. One grand prize winner will be selected to perform as the Opening Act at the Songwriters Music Series: Chicago edition to benefit VH1 Save The Music Foundation in 2012 plus win $10,000 in cash & prizes. Contestants can choose from four featured Sing4 contest songs by Rihanna, Train, Carrie Underwood and Daughtry. After selecting one of the four songs, contestants will videotape themselves performing it, post their performance by logging on to www.youtube.com/sing4 and uploading their video. Famous YouTube artists are already getting involved. Videos will be judged on originality, talent and creativity.
This holiday season, Sing4 would make an awesome stocking stuffer for the wannabe singer in your life. You can purchase Sing4 at Amazon, or you can win your own copy right here! Just fill out the easy rafflecopter form below:
