When I think of self-storage places, I think of dark, cold, oversized cubicles that hold my items until I need them again. I’ve had some good and some bad experiences with storing my items, but in general, I don’t associate storage facilities with a warm and friendly atmosphere or workers. Until, of course, I learned about StorageMart.
StorageMart is trying to break down the misconceptions of cold and dingy storage facilities with their commitment to providing high-level service to customers, as well as the communities they reside in. They pride themselves on having a low carbon footprint by upcycling industrial buildings and repurposing them into self-storage facilities. Not only do they provide a safe place to store your items, but they offer expert advice on how to properly store your items, organization tips, DIY projects, and other home & garden information. They connect with people of all ages and stages of life by connecting with them on a personal level.
Check out this interview with the president, Cris Burnam, of StorageMart and Kathy Ireland. I personally love the attention to detail and emphasis on safety of their storage facilities. Oftentimes I wasn’t comfortable going to our previous storage unit on my own, but Cris Burnam makes it a point to say that if StorageMart is a place you will feel comfortable going to due to their friendly and safe environment.
