The stage is very small and the sitting area has soft mats where children can interact and be part of the show. My little girl squealed with joy when the cast would come onto the play mats and sing with the kids. They even gave her the microphone so that she can join in the singing! (she was in awe and couldn’t get any words out!)
At the end my little girl got to hug and take a photo with the entire cast! If you are in the New York area, I HIGHLY recommend you see this show! CLICK HERE for show and ticket info
My friend brought her school-aged son and this is what she had to say about it:“The Ohmies were amazing! They not only reinforced the yoga poses that my child has learned, but taught my child the proper categorical name of the insects that were represented. My child had so much fun dancing, singing and doing yoga that he asks me when we can go back to see the Ohmies. The characters were very good actors and the stage is small, so it makes it very personal. The actors made time after the show for photos and hugs with the kids. It really is unlike any show out there. It is like bringing small town stage to the big Apple by involving the kids and making the show interactive.”
