Of all the games my girls play on the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, I notice they always gravitate to the MiiMaker to create their own characters out of friends and family members. My older Nintendo Kid will use those characters in a game, while my budding Nintendo Kid likes to create as many as she can with funny characteristics. They love seeing their creations in various games throughout Nintendo, but now that Miitopia is available for Nintendo 3DS, they love a game that is focused on using the characters they create.
Miitopia is a kingdom where all their Miis come together and are given roles. Their roles help keep the kingdom safe by fighting evil. Each role has a job and ability that helps keep the entire kingdom moving. My 8 year old wouldn’t let me play for fear that I would “mess up the game,” so I will update my review once I can pry the 3DS out of her hands. Here is her own review of Miitopia, and you can catch a more in-depth review from her at SuperKidsReviews.com
I think Miitopia is great because you get to make teammates and you can put whoever you want on your team. You get to battle monsters and sometimes you can get food out of them, so you have food to feed the people in your inn. The Inn is where they stay at night. You can choose your jobs, like a mage or a warrior. You choose the jobs for your teammates and when you’re in the inn with your teammates and the more time you spend in the inn with them the higher their love is for each other. In Miitopia you can learn new things like how to battle evil monsters and get food out of them, and how to save everybody’s face from the evil dark lord who takes away everyone’s faces.
You can get your copy of Miitopia from our affiliates at Amazon, as well as supporting amiibo characters that can be used across many Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games.
