Week 2: I just completed week 2 on Nutrisystem. I weighed in at 239.6 this morning, down 4 lbs from last week. I was prepared for the decrease in weight loss, as I had read on the Nutrisystem website not to get discouraged when you don’t see as big as a drop in weight the second week. As for the food, so far so good. I have enough variety in my meal plan that I have not had to eat the same thing twice, and I have so far been enjoying each of my meals. The mental aspect of dieting came much more into play this week, since Memorial Day weekend is here and I came face to face with much of the food that helped me gain all this weight in the first place. I did eat a little bit, and thanks to the food planner on the Nutirsystem website, I was able to keep track of my calories and east just the right portion size in order to maintain my calorie count for that day. On to week 3!
