Raise your hand if grilling season is your favorite! I personally love grilling season because it typically means I don’t have to cook dinner on most nights. My husband is the grill master of the family and dinner is in his hands when the weather is nice and we can all get outside for a BBQ. Unfortunately, somewhere between September and April, we lose our zest for barbecuing and get stuck in the routine of everything that can be cooked in the oven, stovetop, or slow cooker.
I’ve tried a few indoor griddles that promised to give us the same flavor as the outdoor grill, but instead my house ended up with a smokey mess. It was just as bad as you’d think, and now the local fire department knows that if my smoke alarm is going off between 5-6 pm, that just means I attempted to make dinner on a griddle.

When I saw commercials for the Power Smokeless Indoor Grill, I had to know more. Was the Power Grill Smokeless Indoor Grill really smokeless? Would this product offer the same smokey flavor as traditional outdoor grilling? This was something I had to find out, so when the people behind the Power Smokeless Indoor Grill asked me to check out their product, I had to be one of the first to get my hands on it.
Some things we love on the grill are the obvious- hot dogs and hamburgers, chicken, corn, grilled pineapple and peppers, and my personal favorite, grilled steak. For our first trial of the Power Grill Smokeless Grill, I threw a few steaks on and hoped for the best. I typically season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and sometimes paprika, onion powder, oregano, and cumin.
The first thing I noticed when powering up the smokeless indoor grill was the smell- usually, there is a burning or smokey scent coming from other grills, but the smokeless grill emitted no odors or smoke-smells. After I felt it was hot enough to add my steaks, I placed all 4 on the large grill area. I could easily fit 6-8 burgers or chicken breasts on the grill plate alone, or I can mix it up and add some meat and corn together. The grill plate is large enough to get all your grilling done in the same amount of time as traditional grilling for a family of 5.

Check out the grill marks! You would never even know that these beautiful steaks were cooked on an indoor grill. After my meat was browned on both sides, I closed the top lid to keep the heat inside and cook the steaks a little quicker. My kids, as well as myself, like our steaks on the well-done side with no red or pink at all, while my husband loves his steak a little on the medium side. You can tell on the bottom of the plate just how juicy the steaks were!
