Yummy Recipes with McCormick Ingredients!

I might be tooting my own horn here, but I am a great baker! I have always loved baking and experimenting with different ingredients to create delicious sweets. When I taught middle school, my favorite topic was always baked goods. I loved teaching my students that they can create their own recipes using REAL ingredients as opposed to purchasing ready made goods that may have artificial sweeteners and ingredients.

When it comes to spices, McCormick takes the cake (pun totally intended.) They have the largest variety of ingredients to use for just about any recipe you are cooking in your kitchen – whether it is for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or appetizer, main course, or dessert. Speaking of dessert, I had delicious lemon cookies at my friends house recently and I haven’t been able to get the craving off my mind. These cookies were store-bought, but they were insanely delicious. When I received my McCormick products that contained Lemon Extract, I knew immediately I would try to make lemon cookies that would satisfy my craving.

I immediately checked out the to see what recipes I could find using the majority of the ingredients that were sent to me: Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Vanilla Extract, Lemon Extract, and Assorted Food Dye Colors. In the Look Book, I typed in “lemon” and a few recipes came up, one of which was the Lemon-Glazed Ginger Cookies. It was perfect – lemon flavor to satisfy my tastebuds and included 4 of the 6 ingredients! I printed up my recipe, gathered my ingredients, and went to work!

Other recipes from the Look Book I saved to my favorites were Almond White Chocolate Cookies, Basic Easter Egg Dying Tips (this would come in handy for using the dyes which were provided), Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Raspberry Brownies. There are so many choices in the Look Book, even beyond dessert! I happen to have a sweet tooth at the moment, so those are the recipes that appeal to me the most!
