Appliance Art

I was watching the Food Network a few months ago and noticed decals on one of the chef’s refrigerators. I HAD to have one – I have a stainless steal refrigerator, and while I love the sleek look, sometimes I want to add a little flare. During the holiday season, I place fun removable (window) decals on my fridge to dress it up.

I had the opportunity to work with Appliance Art and I was ecstatic! My hubby, on the other hand, had other ideas. He liked our kitchen scene just the way it was and thought a decal on our fridge would just stand out too much. I couldn’t disagree more, but we settled on choosing a decal for the holiday season, and not one to keep up all year round. We chose  a Snow Man theme, thinking it would be nice to keep up all winter.

I love the service at Appliance Art. When they realized my measurements didn’t make sense (I have a freezer on the bottom) they immediately called me up and walked me through how to correctly measure my fridge. They could have easily sent me exactly what I requested, but they took the time out to call me and tell me why it would  not work. I like that!

Only a few days after that phone call, my appliance art was delivered. Note to self: next time, do not choose anything with a white background for a stainless fridge. It stands out, A LOT. Looking back I wish I had thought about it a little more and ordered something a little darker. The quality of the Appliance Art is great. There are even directions for how to place it on your fridge correctly. It is made out of a thick contact paper type of material – since my fridge is not magnetic.

I recommend Appliance Art if you are looking for a quick fix to a drab kitchen. When you are ordering, think about your decor and color of fridge before your order!
