I’m pretty sure the majority of the US is starting to get a taste for what winter has in store for us. With temperatures already dropping and even snow in some parts, it seems we’ve gotten an early start to the cold weather. Keeping the kids happy, entertained, and active can be a challenge, but with new interactive video games children can still get up, have fun, and get moving with their friends- even if it is just in their living room!
We received the new LeapFrog LeapTV on Halloween and this was the perfect time to test it out. We were already hosting a Friday night pizza party with the neighborhood kids and knew the LeapTV might be a great way for the kids to burn off the excess sugar they consumed from their recent haul. Setup of the LeapTV was easy, I simply connected the two wires to the back of the game console and plugged each one into the back of the TV and a power source. Even with a wall mounted television, setup was easy because the wires pop into the side of the TV.

Setting up game play was a bit challenging ONLY because I had a few eager children who wanted to get their hands on the controller first. From ages 2 all the way up to 6, each child was able to comfortable hold the controller in their hand because of the unique design. Once I had everything setup, it was time to play! Whole playing the dancing game, the controller wasn’t always necessary since the intuitive console can read your child, put then right on the big screen, and register their every movement. This is how they gain points and excel in the game. There is no room for lazy couch potatoes here! LeapTV will keep you moving until your turn is up.

This holiday season, get your hands on the game that will keep them active this winter. LeapTV is available at various retailers including the LeapFrog website.
