Last weekend marked the end of summer, back to the old grind of hitting the books, making sure pencils are sharpened, and ink tanks are filled. My hubby and I are no exception. With college classes starting earlier than younger grades, we are back to routine before anyone else. We know too well what procrastination does; you know, when you are suppose to hand in a paper tomorrow but waited until now to print it, only to find out that you ran out of ink, your printer decided to stop working, or you have no printer paper left. Oh yes, from a student standpoint AND a teacher’s perspective, we get it.
We had a small BBQ with out closest friends and relatives to say goodbye to summer and hello to a successful 2012-2013 school year. We were able to introduce the HP Deskjet 3052A Wireless e-All-In-One Printer to everyone. What’s so great about this printer? Well, with everyone and their mother (literally) owning smartphones or tablets, wireless printing has become a necessity. Unless writing posts, I am rarely on my computer, so having a printer that I can use with my phone is a necessity. Since my hubby is both a teacher AND a student, he is often running from work to class and tries to do work in between. He can print from school or work right to our printer at home by sending an email. It’s THAT simple! Have a student going away to college? You can send pictures or easy recipes straight to their printer. Of course, set up is required, but that goes for any printer out there.
The HP XL Ink Cartridges hold more ink than standard HP ink, so you can go longer between refills- which will hopefully eliminate that dreaded my printer ran out of ink excuse. You can stock up on HP goodies, including printers, ink, and paper by heading over to Walmart and Walmart.com.
We held a few demos with our friends where we printed some fun family pictures and used the scanner feature to share old photos from before the digital camera era. Yes, we own photos that old- and we asked our guests to bring their favorite old family picture to scan, share, and print. Everyone was impressed at how easy it was to use, but the ink ran out before we knew it. Time to refill!
