You waited 9 months for your little miracle to be born, and you have everything purchased from your registry cleaned and ready to be used. You have your heart set on breastfeeding and go out and buy the most expensive breast pump you find. You have your baby, you are in the hospital learning how to breastfeed, and when you come home you realize your clothing is not conducive to breastfeeding. You waddle all the way to the maternity story, hoping not to pop a stitch, just to pick out nursing clothing.
This is a true story based on my experience with my first baby. I had 2 nursing bras, which were made for sleeping, and 1 nursing tank top. Then it dawned on me: I will be breastfeeding at least 10 times a day (with a newborn) and it will be everyday. I needed a new wardrobe! I picked out a few things I thought would be great from the maternity store not too far from my house. I found maternity clothes to be very uncomfortable. Either they were too short and didn’t accomodate a swollen post-partum belly, or the proportions were completely off, being very loose around the breasts and tight around the waist.
With Baby #2 I discovered Leading Lady nursing clothes. I still wear my favorite nursing tank top whether I’m headed out or need a comfy cami at night. One thing I ditched when I became pregnant was underwire bras. I was pregnant throughout the summer with my first and I felt that the underwire was very uncomfortable. Leading Lady has wire-free nursing bras that have full coverage, so you never have to worry about engorged breasts popping out. The one-handed clasp makes it so easy to unhook, and the soft cotton is so comfortable, you won’t even know you are wearing a bra!
The new line, Loving Moments by LeadingLady is available exclusively at Walmart. I received a few samples to try out and I was impressed by the quality and comfort of the products in this line. If you are a new mom and plan on breastfeeding, don’t make the same mistake I did! Make sure you stock up on comfortable styles that will last you for many months!

Those look so much nicer than what was available 11 years ago when I nursed my last child.
