Kids love to say that they’re bored, don’t they? It’s normal for kids to do this – after all, once they’ve started school, they’re used to somebody telling them what to do all day long. It’s natural for them to expect you to tell them what to do the right of the time. While you should encourage your kids to make up their own games and come up with things they’d like to do, it won’t hurt to have a few tricks up your sleeve for when the situation seems really dire. Below you’ll find some ideas!
Give Them A Challenge
If you want to give your kids something to do for a while, you could always invent a challenge for them. For example, if they like writing, why not get them to write you a story about a talking animal? Give them a vague idea and then see where they go with it. It’ll help get their creative juices flowing, too.
Try A Puzzle
Puzzles can keep kids occupied for a while. It should be challenging enough to keep them interested, but not so challenging that they want to give up.
Get Outside And Explore
If you have some time, why not get outside, walk, and explore? You could even try Geocaching and see what you can find in your area!
Take Them Out For The Day
Why not take your kids out for the day? You could take them for food, to a museum, or even to see a show. Below you’ll find an infographic to help you figure out which show to see.
