My little guy isn’t so little anymore and his preferences have changed so much in the past year. He’s gone from fun, vibrant, fluffy cartoons to wanting more action-driven toys and shows. It’s so fun to watch the evolution of any child as they grow into their own and make choices that show their individual personalities.
Since my son is surrounded by two older sisters and their friends, I anticipated he would naturally gravitate to the same types of toys they liked – anything pink and glittery. Once school started and he started making friends with similar-minded boys, his preferences slowly changed and his exposure to other types of toys increased. My son loves building, vehicles, and superheroes, and he especially loves when his father is home from work and builds things with him.
When I told my husband about Modarri cars and the ability to build and customize your own car online, he thought it would be a fun activity to do with our son. My son’s favorite color is red, just like his favorite superhero, so he went for an all-red car that he called “Super Charged Race Car.” They chose the frame, the hood, fender, the chassis and wheels for each car they built. In less than 20 minutes they were done building their vehicles and within a week we had those vehicles shipped to our home!
It was fun watching something they built come to life, and my son appreciated that he was able to build something and then hold it in his hands. Once the cars arrived, they were further able to customize them by mixing and matching the pieces of each car with the included tool that came with the cars.
