Finding the right diaper bag took me a while. I still feel that there is no PERFECT bag that suits me for every outing. As my toddler’s needs change, so does my choice in which bag I choose to take with me. I have about 5 bags that I use as diaper bags, and only 1 of them is a traditional “diaper bag.”
When choosing a diaper bag, you have to think of exactly what you are bringing with you. What do you absolutely NEED? Then factor in extras – extra diapers, clothes, an extra bottle, etc. By the time you are done with your list, you might think that the only way you are leaving the house with all this stuff is with a suitcase – that is how I feel almost always, especially after my toddler started having bouts of nausea and vomiting in the car. We now have to have at least two changes of clothes with us at all times when we are taking car rides.
When California Innovations asked me to review their products, I didn’t expect this diaper bag to be much different than what I was use to. Just by looking at the picture, I was completely misled at how much this diaper bag holds! (It holds A LOT!) Since my friend recently had a baby, I decided to put together a care package for her and used the diaper bag as the gift bag. I was able to stuff a small package of diapers, a set of baby toiletries, two outfits, and a set of receiving blankets. Meanwhile, the bag also comes with a changing liner, bottle holder, cell phone holder, cosmetics case, and a pacifier holder – which was also inside the bag!
Now, the bag is not HUGE – but it definitely holds a lot. Whether you are going on for a few minutes or for the entire day, this is a great bag to bring along with you.
