What happens when you are 8 months pregnant, unable to walk well, and have a home to tend to? Well, a lot of things can go wrong. My third pregnancy has been less than ideal with bouts of bed rest, severe SPD pain, and a temperamental sciatic nerve that have left me looking for convenience. It wasn’t until I sent my husband out in the snow for toilet paper one evening, that we realized we had run out of basic necessities. I was really lagging in my “duties” and needed extra help. That’s when I realized I should have been using the Walmart app all along to order necessary household items. I have used the app sporadically in the past, but with all the joys that come along with pregnancy it has turned out to be a real life saver, especially during the Walmart Stock and Save Event going on through April 30th.

Just yesterday I placed an order for Charmin toilet paper, Bounty paper towels, and even started our Pampers diaper stash for our newest baby arriving in just a few weeks. Pampers Swaddlers are my favorite during those early days, and running out of diapers is not an option, so I’m happy to have a Pampers Huge Box size on hand. I’ve ordered household products in the past through the Walmart app so I know that not only will my order arrive soon, but I don’t have to leave the couch (doctors orders.) Buying in bulk is not only economical, but also keeps is from having to run out to the stores for those basic necessities on a whim. In a few weeks, we will have a newborn, a 3 year old and an almost 6 year old – so those shopping trips will be infrequent until we get in a groove. I love that Walmart has all the brands I use and love available online so I don’t have to leave the house for the basics. Their prices are what keep me going back, as well as the ease and convenience of using their app.
