When I was a little girl, I would always see commercials for Chuck E Cheese and wish there was a location near me that I could go and have fun like the kids on TV. Fast forward many (MANY) years later and Chuck E Cheese still remains one of the hottest places to hold a kid’s party or playdate. My toddler had never even been to Chuck E Cheese, but was just as intrigued by the commercials as I was that she asked to go several times. I wasn’t too sure it was appropriate for her age, she’s 2 1/2, but after speaking with other parents I found out that there is a separate section for toddlers. I decided that the best time to go would be earlier in the day while older kids were at school so that my toddler wasn’t bombarded with crowds.
When we entered Chuck E Cheese I didn’t find it much different than the places we’ve been to for birthday parties. They have various games for children to play where tokens are used and prizes can be won. My little girl had a great time exploring and playing! When she needed a break we took a seat and had pizza. Now, if you are from New York then you know that New York pizza can not compare to ANY pizza out there, even if the Chuck E Cheese is located in New York. The pizza is not what we would usually eat, but it was more like a fast-food type of pizza that you would find in family chain pizzerias.
My little girl had a great time and has been asking to go back. I like that Chuck E Cheese is a great place to take her on a rainy or cold day when outdoor activities are out of the question.
