I consulted with a few people right before I made my first cloth diaper purchase. I wasn’t sure what I wanted – Hybrids, All in One, All in Two, Applix, Snaps… you get the picture! Cloth diapering can be very daunting at first (until you finally understand the lingo and then it turns into an addiction!) Some people advised me to steer clear of All in One cloth diapers because they tend to be more expensive and do not dry quickly (I didn’t have a dryer at the time.) After my initial trial with covers and pocket diapers, I tried out All in Ones and didn’t understand why they got such a bad rap. I actually LOVE All in One diapers and they are pretty much all I used until my little one was potty trained.
I had the opportunity to work with Thanks Mama and she suggested I try out the Bamboo Baby AIO diaper, without even knowing my preference. I heard all the wonderful things about bamboo diapers and I used all in ones, so this was the perfect diaper for my little one! The Bamboo Baby AIO diaper was meant to perform, through daytime and long nighttime stretches! I was very happy with the performance, and the style of the diaper – with the Bamboo insert attached to the inside of the diaper and not sewn as one piece, the diaper didn’t take too long to dry. My only gripe with Bamboo Baby AIO diapers were the tabs- I felt they were too wide and didn’t fit comfortably around the waist, so my little one had a little irritation on her legs from the velcro. I had to be careful each time I put the tabs in place, and after a few times I was able to avoid any irritation from misaligned tabs. Of course, this can all be avoided if you choose the snap version of this diaper!
