This sounds like a weird question. . . washing your washing machine. The soap from the cycle does that, doesn’t it? Well, this is what I thought. Until I got this funk on my clothes from my previous washing machine. I would always leave the washer door open to air out so that the water inside wouldn’t mold, but I still found that after some time, the barrel needed some love too. I actually had to call for service on my washing machine for the first time last month. There was a burning smell coming from the washer. Lo and behold, it was just funk!
I never heard of Affresh tablets until I joined the Whirlpool Moms panel. These magical tablets do all the work while you sit back and have your coffee, or in my case, chase after my toddler. Affresh tablets dissolve in the washing machine and with the new Whirlpool machine, there is even a cycle option for it. You simply place the tablet in, tell your washing machine to clean itself and less than an hour later its done! This is recommended every three months. If your washing machine doesn’t have the Affresh cycle option, don’t fret – you can still use Affresh tablets by running a normal cycle! When your Whirlpool washing machine isn’t feeling so fresh, it actually tells you that it is time to clean it!
Funny thing after using these tablets – the stainless steel barrel inside the washing machine was SO shiny! I guess after time detergent and fabric softener can build up. So this makes me wonder, if it is building up on my machine, are my clothes getting their best possible clean? Now that I started using Affresh tablets there is no going back!
Thank you Whirlpool and Mom Central for this awesome opportunity!!
