On August 19 I was invited to an awesome event in Herald Square with Erin Andrews. Florida Orange Juice was hosting a fun tailgating party and everyone in the area was invited! Large grills were set up with samples of orange flavored chicken, and samples of all natural Florida Orange Juice were being handed out. Since it was so hot, there really was nothing more refreshing than Florida Orange Juice! Check out everyone waiting by the grill station:
It smelled delicious!!
Getting excited for football season is easy when you have a hubby who has weekly football nights with his friends. Now that everyone is married with children, everyone gets in on the fun. Creating new tailgate-worthy recipes is always a fun way to try new flavors. When you head over to FloridaCitrus.org, you can find tasty recipes, such as this one we tried at the event:
Now, this recipe might sound like a sweet & sour chicken type of recipe, or at least it did to me, but it is anything but sweet and sour! It was chicken with a sweet kick to it. Definitely something I will be making at home for football night! Another great part of the event was meeting Erin Andrews. If you are not into sports, then you might say, “WHO!?” Erin Andrews is a female sportscaster, definitely a rare breed!
Did you know that incorporating 100 percent orange juice in your daily routine may help maintain a healthy diet and may even help reduce the risk of certain diseases? I love adding it to our baking and have made a few chicken recipes that called for Florida Orange juice. It is so versatile, you can do so much with Florida Orange Juice, but I prefer it over ice in a tall glass with a straw!
How do you enjoy Florida Orange Juice?
