Having two little girls means dress up doesn’t only happen once a year for Halloween. It can be a daily ritual where they wake up in the morning, decide which princess they would like to be, and even accompany me on market runs or shopping trips as that princess. I don’t mind it, I know this phase won’t last long and I try to embrace every minute of them being little girls and enjoying dress up time.
Since we have to have just about every Girls Disney Costumes available, I try to scour the internet for great deals. Costumes can get pricey, but you don’t have to break the bank finding the right costume at the right price. My little one has recently gotten into Rapunzel and aspires to be her. Aside from not having long blonde hair, she can easily pass for Rapunzel, randomly stating lines she hears in the movie. It’s so much fun to watch her act like her latest favorite princess, and the adorable costume in hues of purple compliment her very well. It’s also comfortable for her to wear for an extended period of time, can be washed easily in the machine, and can withstand my rough and tumble toddler.
Since my girls are so into princesses, it’s not uncommon for us to have princess themed play dates. We get a lot of Princess Party Ideas online and from watching Disney movies featuring their favorite princesses. The girls have a great time with their friends pretending to be the princess they choose that day. Do your kids have a favorite princess?
